Media

This was the cover of The Independent last week. As of today, nothing changed. In fact, 4 UN observers are actually killed by Israeli air strikes, after their 10 pleas for them to stop attacks. It seems that the Israelis had pierced the very center of the red cross on each ambulance for a better target...
The aid is having trouble reaching the needy, as it is constantly bombarded or simply cannot get to the places where it's needed the most, without clearance from the Israelis. It's getting tremendously frustating for the aid agencies, as they see their volunteers get wounded or their merchandise getting rotten from waiting in Syria or elsewhere else.

I've also received an email (thanks Rafal) about a Quick vote on CNN and look at the results:

Do you think the Israeli military response inside Lebanon is justified?
Yes 50% 727947 votes
No 50% 723745 votes

This alert was received by the Israeli Comittee against the destruction of Palestinian houses. They reconstruct the houses their compats have destroyed in Palestine. The Comittee received the International Human Rights Award in 2004, given by the Spanish Pro-Human Rights Association.

There is also this link CNN is providing on how to help civilians in Lebanon.
